Words of Wonder

For the word of God is living and active.

Sharper than any double-edge sword,
it penetrates even to diving should and spirit,
joints and marrow;
it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Hebrews 4:12

Peace comes when we steep in the Word of God.
Steeping in scripture is like a tea bag steeping in hot water.
Change comes.
God's truth permeates a weary soul with a renewed strength to face another day.

Reward yourself with a pause in Christ's uplifting presence
by using a cup of tea as an excuse to take time to read and ponder His word today.

Uplifting blessings,
Carolyn

Love your phrase "a steaming brew." The old and new testament words of God are a brew of refreshment too. Thanks for sharing with us today, Barbara.

Sharing what touches us to the writer of shared thoughts is giving a gift of encouragement.

Thanks for the gift you gave me today, Ellen.

How right you are, Jeanne, about God's word having transforming power.
Plugging into His word daily is like plugging in our cell phones for on going power to listen, speak, and teach.

Love your thought. Thanks for sharing.

Time to do tea again, my friend.
Tea time with a friend strengthens the relationship.

The tea kettle is on!
